Justin Michel, MA, MSc, RP, RMFT, is an experienced mental health professional serving as the Founder and CEO of Building Bridges Psychotherapy since September 2018 and Affordable Therapy Ontario since October 2022. With a background as a Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor, Justin delivers psychotherapy to diverse client groups, including individuals, couples, and families. In addition to clinical work, Justin is an engaging public speaker on topics such as mental health and relationships. Previous roles include Clinical Therapist Intern at Family Counselling and Support Services for Guelph-Wellington, Therapist Intern at Couple & Family Therapy Centre, and Research Project Manager at York University. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Science in Couple and Family Therapy and a Master of Arts in Social & Personality Psychology, with undergraduate study in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour from McMaster University. Justin also has experience as a Child and Youth Worker, Health and Fitness Coach, and Professional Tutor.

As relationship therapists, we help our clients connect with what's most important: partners, family, community, culture, faith, and our relationship with ourselves. We have offices located in Mississauga and Guelph. We also offer therapy remotely via phone or video. Building Bridges was founded by Justin Michel (a.k.a. Justin the Therapist) in 2020, after his private practice grew rapidly. Justin wanted to create a collective practice for therapists to better serve the public.
