Friday Apaliski

Friday Apaliski is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in sustainability and marketing. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Communications at the Building Decarbonization Coalition since June 2022, Friday previously worked as a Sustainability Concierge from January 2017 to November 2022. At the San Francisco Department of the Environment from February 2011 to December 2016, Friday held roles as Senior Marketing Specialist and Outreach Coordinator, effectively communicating departmental programs and managing various outreach initiatives. Other experience includes positions with Semester At Sea, Universal McCann, Aegis Media, AKQA, and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. Friday holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising from the University of Oregon.
