Keerthana V. is an experienced urban planner and researcher with a focus on coastal resiliency and community engagement. Currently serving as Assistant Manager of Research and Analysis at Detroit Land Bank Authority since June 2022, Keerthana previously worked as a Research Assistant for the Michigan Association of Planning, where efforts included workshops on coastal resiliency strategies funded by the Michigan Coastal Management Program. With roles ranging from Assistant Evaluator at the University of Michigan to multiple positions focused on diversity and inclusion in urban planning, Keerthana has developed a strong foundation in research methodologies and community collaboration. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
