Jahiarra Mitchell

Jahiarra Mitchell serves as the Associate Director of Recruitment Operations at BES since December 2022, previously holding the position of Recruiting Operations Manager. Prior experience includes various roles at IDEA Public Schools from April 2014 to December 2022, such as Operations Selection Manager, National Operations Recruiter, Instructional Selection Coordinator, Director of College Counseling, College Counselor, and Reading Interventionist. Additionally, Jahiarra was recognized as Teacher of the Year at IDEA Monterrey Park in 2015-2016 and worked as a Special Education Teacher at Jefferson City Public Schools in late 2013. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor's of Science in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master's degree in Counselor Education from the University of Southern California.
