Jamie Brown has a diverse work experience in the education and childcare industry. They started their career as an Assistant Director/Teacher at Building Kidz in 2003, where they oversaw daily operations and conducted teacher trainings. From 2005 to 2006, Jamie worked as a Head Teacher at Children's Creative Learning Center, EA Campus, planning and implementing curriculum and evaluating children's development. In 2006, they joined SPG as a Scheduling Coordinator, managing therapist schedules and providing customer service. They then served as Director at The Child Day Schools, Lafayette from 2008 to 2011, achieving enrollment targets and managing a team of teachers. Jamie further expanded their expertise as a Director for Back-up Care at Bright Horizons from 2011 to 2014, providing emergency care and building relationships with clients. They also worked as a Consultant at EastBayPreschools.com in 2015, creating partnerships and generating website traffic. Joining Avid Home Theater, LLC in the same year, Jamie held roles in Human Resources and Business Development, establishing company policies, identifying partnerships, and improving productivity. In 2018, they became the Director of Operations at Building Kidz School, where they are responsible for driving accounts and maintaining franchisee relationships. Throughout their career, Jamie has demonstrated strong leadership, relationship-building, and operational skills.
Jamie Brown attended San Jose State University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development. In May 2022, Jamie obtained additional certifications in Introduction to CRM with HubSpot and Sales and CRM Overview from Coursera.
