Tom Battistini

Tom Battistini has a strong background in engineering and sales, with experience in the security and robotics industries. Tom currently holds the position of Principal Systems Engineer at Building Machines. From 2021 to 2021, they worked as a Lead Systems Engineer at Teledyne FLIR, focusing on a program of record for the Department of Defense. Prior to that, they worked at FLIR Systems as a Lead and Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they contributed to a program of record for the DoD. From 2016 to 2018, Tom served as a Sales Manager in the APAC and Americas regions at Endeavor Robotics. Tom began their career at iRobot in 2004 as a Mechanical Engineer before progressing to the role of Senior Applications Engineer. Tom also gained early engineering experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Hasbro in 2002.

Tom Battistini attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2000 to 2004. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
