Albert Vega

Albert Vega, PhD, serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Building Momentum, LLC, where innovative training methods enhance problem-solving skills and confidence. As a Board Member and Co-Founder of ATHENA Rapid Response Innovation Lab, Albert contributes to important projects aimed at providing critical resources and training during emergencies. Previously, Albert was a Board Member for girls + data, promoting STEM education for young women. Albert's extensive experience includes a role as a Senior Associate at Exponent, where impactful solutions were developed in a mobile prototyping lab in Afghanistan, and as a Sole Proprietor of Vega Photographic, providing freelance photography services. Academic roles at Purdue University included teaching advanced courses in electrical engineering, following a solid educational background comprising a PhD, MSEE, and BSEE in Electrical Engineering. Albert's internship with NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory focused on optical communication systems for deep space.
