Linda Marquez

Linda Marquez has had a long and successful career in the coatings and chemicals industries. Linda began their career in 1980 as a Distributor Sales Manager for Ameron International, and then moved up to Senior R&D/Product Development Manager. In 1995, they joined SigmaKalon as Sigma Coatings, where they held the role of Marketing and Product Management for the Americas, as well as Global Marketing for worldwide Power and Offshore Sectors. In 2001, they joined Ameron BV as Director, Technical & Marketing, and then Ameron International Coatings & Finishes as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing. Linda was responsible for directing the global marketing function for the business, including key product branding and marketing introduction, business plan development, and interface with manufacturing, sales, engineering and technical functions. In 2006, they joined PPG Industries as Global Brand/Marketing/Government Sales. Finally, in 2019, they joined Building Safety Solutions as VP Marketing.

Linda Marquez attended Holy Rosary Academy and Sr Bernardine High School, graduating from the latter in 1966. Linda then went on to California State University-San Bernardino, where they earned a Bachelors in Chemistry in 1970. Two years later, they obtained their M.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside. In 1987, they completed their EMBA in International Business/Marketing from the Drucker School of Management. In 2000, they earned a post grad in Strategic Business Modelling/Intl Marketing from London Business School. Additionally, in June 2022, they obtained an AMPP Membership from the Association for Materials Protection and Performance.
