Andrew Blauvelt has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Andrew began their career as a Building Controls Field Technician at Bluefield Engineered Systems, where they installed building automation systems in various facilities. Andrew then worked as an Intern in Aircraft Engines at General Electric, where they gained exposure to manufacturing processes.

Blauvelt joined GKN plc as a Graduate Rotational Engineer, where they rotated between different offices and plants to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company. Andrew then worked at Mechanical Incorporated as an Energy Engineer, responsible for energy efficiency projects and audits.

At AECOM, Blauvelt served as a Senior Energy Engineer, leading sustainability solutions for carbon reduction and working on retro-commissioning and energy modeling projects.
