Ken Thompson

Ken Thompson is an experienced product management leader currently serving as the Vice President of Product Management at Buildkite, focusing on enhancing software delivery for engineering teams. Prior to Buildkite, Ken held the position of Chief Product Officer at Stax, where significant achievements included reducing EBITDA burn by 70% and facilitating a major acquisition. Ken's extensive experience also includes leadership roles at Microsoft, where a team of architects was led to assist SaaS partners in product development on Azure, as well as significant positions at Red Hat and Accenture. Ken holds a Master of Technology in Business Systems from Swinburne University of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Charles Sturt University.
