Sonny Caberwal

Sonny Caberwal has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Beginning in 2004, they worked as a Corporate Lawyer at Chadbourne & Parke LLP, where they handled corporate structuring, financing, and compliance matters. In 2005, Sonny co-founded Tavalon Tea, a premium tea brand with retail, wholesale, and e-commerce operations. After that, they co-founded Exclusively.com, one of India's first e-commerce companies, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer and raised significant funding. In 2013, Sonny founded Bond, a technology company specializing in handwriting software and robotics. Sonny led Bond as the CEO until 2016 when the company was acquired by Newell Brands. At Newell Brands, Sonny served as the Lead of Digital Innovation, leading a team in researching and prototyping technology innovations for the company's product portfolio. In 2018, Sonny founded Union Social Club before moving on to become the CEO of Ever Scouts in 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at Legends, where they are developing a confidence-training program for elementary schoolers based on the discovery that confidence is a trainable skill.

Sonny Caberwal graduated from Greensboro Day School, although the exact years of their attendance are unknown. Sonny then went on to attend Duke University from 1997 until 2001 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business & Globalization. In 2000, they also attended the University of Oxford as a Lord Rothermere Scholar, focusing on Comparative Tort Law. After completing their undergraduate studies, Caberwal pursued a Juris Doctor degree at Georgetown University Law Center from 2001 to 2004, specializing in Corporate Law.
