Romy Williams

Romy Williams has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Starting in 2022, Romy became the Vice President of Strategic Partnership, External Affairs, Compliance, and Legal at BukuWarung, a startup focused on building digital infrastructure for MSMEs in Indonesia. Prior to that, Romy was the Vice President of Operations at the same company.

Before joining BukuWarung, Romy worked at Mapan - PT Ruma, where they held several positions. These included Chief Operating Officer, Chief of Business Development & Staff, Chief Sales Officer, and Sales Lead. Romy played a key role in building and leading the sales organization and recruiting agents to improve the lives of middle to low-income societies.

Romy's earlier experience includes working at Procter & Gamble, where they held various leadership positions. These included Director of Indonesia Commercial Leader and Trade Marketer, Director of West & Central Java, South East Asia Trade Marketing Manager, Indomaret Senior Key Account Manager, Carrefour Key Account Manager, and Sales Manager. Romy demonstrated expertise in driving sales, executing go-to-market strategies, and building strong partnerships with key customers.
