Prior to this role, Ryan served as an Associate City Solicitor in the City of Springfield Law Department from 2012 to 2015, handling contract negotiations, civil litigation, and advising on various municipal legal matters. Ryan began the legal career as an intern at the Northwestern District Attorney from 2011 to 2012, following the attainment of a Juris Doctor degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 2011 and a Bachelor's degree in History from Colorado College in 2005.
