Taylor Martin, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. From 2014 onwards, Taylor worked at Bulldog Group, Inc. as an HR Manager, where they were responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources department, including benefits administration, compliance, talent management, and HR operations & policy. They were knowledgeable in various compliance regulations such as ACA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, FCRA, OSHA, and ERISA.
Prior to that, Taylor was employed at Triad Roofing Company, Inc. as a Corporate Secretary from 2012 to 2014. In this role, they provided exceptional support to ensure efficient office operations and were extensively involved in HR functions, including hiring, talent management, employee retention, and safety initiatives.
Before joining Triad Roofing Company, Taylor worked at the Children's Museum of Winston-Salem as a Playologist from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, they gained experience as an Intern at Exchange/SCAN in 2011.
Taylor Martin, SHRM-SCP, earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Human Resources from Western Carolina University between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, Martin obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling/Counselor from Winston-Salem State University from 2012 to 2014. Martin's undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, completed from 2008 to 2011. In February 2018, Martin obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM.
