Martin Hintz

Martin Hintz has diverse work experience in various industries, with a focus on sustainability and insurance. Martin is currently the Founder of -mynus Carbon Capture project, which aims to establish a formal company that enables individuals to remove CO2 from the air.

Prior to this, Martin worked as the Head of Asset Operations at Bullfinch Asset AG, where they managed solar PV installations on private homes for rental. Martin also has experience as a Business Consultant Digital Health at msg and as the Founder and CEO of Medicount Global Ltd.

Martin has extensive experience in the insurance sector, particularly in microinsurance. Martin served as the Microinsurance Manager at Allianz, overseeing the global Microinsurance/Emerging Consumers portfolio across multiple markets. Prior to that, they were the Head of Microinsurance at Allianz Life Indonesia, where they played a key role in establishing and growing the microinsurance business, collaborating with microfinance institutions and launching innovative products.

Martin Hintz's education history begins in 1996 when they obtained a Certificate of apprenticeship in Carpentry/Carpenter from Berufsschule Lübbecke. Martin then attended Universität Passau from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Master's degree and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in International Cultural and Business Studies. In addition to their formal education, Martin also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2005, they received the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) certification from LOMA. In 2008, they obtained the Fellow, Financial Services Institute (FFSI) certification, also from LOMA. Lastly, in December 2017, they obtained an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
