Kiri Um

Kiri Um is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in both backend and frontend development, currently employed at Bullhorn since February 2021, specializing in Java, Spring, Angular, and Typescript, with experience in testing and various development tools such as Kafka and Jenkins. Prior experience includes software engineering training at Flatiron School, where Kiri developed backend APIs using Ruby on Rails and frontend applications with JavaScript, React, and Redux. Kiri's earlier career as a geophysicist spans multiple roles at Reservoir Geophysical Corp, Seimax Technologies, and GeoCenter LP, focusing on seismic processing, project management, and data handling. Kiri holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Geology and Geophysics and a Master's degree in Geology from the University of Houston. Additionally, Kiri owned and operated Kiri’s Coffee Shop, managing all business operations from 2006 to 2009.
