George Gaffney

George Gaffney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and operations. Currently serving as COO and Head of Exchange Platform Technology & Operations at Bullish since April 2021, George has a demonstrated history of leadership in the financial sector. Prior roles include Managing Director of Technology and Operations at Macquarie Group from April 2007 to September 2020, and Technical Product Specialist at Thomson Reuters from December 2004 to December 2006. Earlier, George worked as a System Engineer at Forefront Technologies KK from April 2003 to December 2004. George holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computing from Monash University and has furthered education at Kaplan/Finsia as well as the ARC Japanese Language School in Tokyo in 2002.
