Ernesto Licona

Ernesto Licona has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2001 as the Director of The Soundsurfers / Digigram - Music Scoring and Post Production Audio Studio. In 2013, they became a Content Creator / Creative Consultant for Televisa Deportes. In 2014, they were a Creative Director for Veinte20 Films and in 2015 they were a Creative Consultant, Film Writer, and Copy Sr. for Ánima Estudios and TERAN\TBWA respectively. In 2016, they were a Music Producer for Udisea/ Univision Communications Inc. In 2020, they were a Freelance Writer for Fremantle and in 2022 they are a Freelance Filmmaker for ernestolicona.com and a Content Creator / Creative Consultant for Bümerang.

Ernesto Licona is currently enrolled in ECIB | Escola de Cinema de Barcelona, where they are studying Cinematography and Film/Video Production. Previously, they obtained a Master's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Centro Universitario de Comunicacion in 2002-2004. From 1998-2002, they attended Centro de Estudios en Ciencias de la Comunicación, A.C. and received a Licentiate degree in Advertising. Ernesto also obtained a Licentiate degree in Music Pedagogy from Escuela Nacional de Musica, UNAM in 2002-2005.
