Brian Stewart

Brian Stewart has a diverse background in mechanical maintenance and engineering roles. Brian currently works as a Lead Mechanical Technician at Bumi Armada, where they are responsible for coaching and developing a team of technicians, ensuring timely and high-quality maintenance, following safety procedures, and raising work orders and permits. Prior to this, Brian worked as a Lead Mechanical Technician at OEM Group Scotland Ltd, where they conducted major repairs, fault diagnosis, overhauls, and maintenance on drilling and production rig equipment. Brian also has experience as a Subsea Engineer at Transocean, where they worked on Well Control Equipment and served as the first point of contact for clients. At the start of their career, Brian worked as a Rig Mechanic at Transocean and as a Mechanical Service Engineer at Turner Engine Power Systems.

Brian Stewart has a educational background in subsea engineering, mechanical engineering/technology, and attended Perth Grammar School. Brian also obtained a certification in the Lloyds Moduspec Subsea Engineer Program.
