Alexander Rösner

Alexander Rösner, Ph.D., currently serves as a Scientific Project Manager for the Federal Agency for Technical Relief, overseeing the ForAn project aimed at building a civil security research network in Germany and empowering practitioners in the field. Additionally, Rösner manages THW workpackages in the BERKoS project, focusing on networking with disaster management organizations. As the Project Manager at IFAFRI, Rösner coordinates project management efforts, including administration and event planning. Previously, Rösner worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Marine Geoscientist at MARUM, contributing to scientific publications and deep-sea drilling projects. Rösner's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Earthquake Mechanics and a Master's in Marine Geosciences, complemented by a Winter School in Ocean Governance.
