Hendrik Beiler has extensive experience in economic issues related to competition policy and empirical industrial organization. Currently serving as a Referent in the General Policy Division at Bundeskartellamt since December 2016, Beiler focuses on economic issues in competition policy. Prior to this role, Beiler completed a PhD at the University of Cologne, specializing in empirical industrial organization, labor economics, and applied microeconometrics. Previous experience includes working as a Research Assistant at E.CA Economics, where Beiler focused on merger control and regulation, and an internship at Horváth & Partners Management Consultants in management control and cost accounting. Beiler holds a Master of Science in Economics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Bayreuth.
