May Shabazz has worked in the customer service and human resources fields since 2015. May began their career as a Case Manager at First Choice In-Home Care, Inc. where they promoted effective homecare services through case management for elderly and developmentally impaired in compliance with agency policies and state regulations. In 2017, they were hired as the Director of Staffing at Cypress Meadows Post Acute where they assigned staff to meet patient care needs and developed monthly schedules for all nursing staff. In 2019, they joined Maxim Healthcare Services Inc. as an Onboarding/Payroll Specialist and was responsible for training, monitoring, and directing employees in application of best practices and regulatory protocols. May also managed onboarding and orientation process including recruitment and hiring of qualified job applicants. Later that year, May joined Camp Gladiator as a Partner Trainer and National Recruiter with Camp Gladiator, where they lead in person and virtual weekly classes structured around an intentional and progressive training cycle. Most recently, they were hired as a Customer Success Specialist/Talent Acquisition Lead at BUNDLE in 2022.

May Shabazz attended California State University-Dominguez Hills from 2010 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. May then attended Central Washington University from 2012 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a focus on Pre-Nursing Studies. In 2018, they obtained a certification from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). In 2019, they obtained a CPR, AED & First Aid Certification from the American Red Cross.
