Emily Yuhas has had a varied and successful career in the tech industry. Emily began their professional journey in 2007 as an Information Systems Intern at General Mills. After that, they interned at Microsoft Corporation twice, first as a PM Intern in 2009 and then as an SDET Intern in 2008. In 2010, they joined Microsoft full-time for four years, working on the Office User Experience team, delivering the first official SDK for Kinect for Windows, and then helping build and launch the Xbox One. In 2014, they co-founded WriteBeta Co., which was acquired by Shebooks in March 2015. Shebooks was then acquired by SheWrites Press in 2018. In 2015, Emily worked as the first and only Product Manager at two early stage startups (Bento for Business, Weddington Way). From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Redfin as a Program Manager, Tour Automation, where they drove critical business strategy for tour scheduling and drove adoption to 100%. Since 2018, Emily has been at Eventbrite as a Product Lead and Senior Product Manager. Most recently, in 2020, they co-founded Awtomic, a subscription management and discovery platform for DTC brands.

Emily Yuhas received their MS in Computer Science with a Human Computer Interaction Focus and their BS in Computer Science and International Area Studies (East Asia) from Washington University in St. Louis from 2005 to 2009. Emily graduated from Newport High School in 2005.
