Matt Simmons

Matt Simmons, CPA, currently serves as the SVP Global Chief Accounting Officer at Bunge since September 2015, having previously held the role of VP Global Controller & Principal Accounting Officer. Prior to Bunge, Matt was the VP - Chief Risk, Accounting & Tax Officer at Talen Energy from May 2014 to September 2015. Matt's extensive experience includes leadership positions such as VP Risk Management & Chief Risk Officer and VP & Corporate Controller at PPL Corporation, as well as serving on the Board of Directors at Western Power Distribution. Earlier roles include VP Finance & Controller at Duke Energy Corporation and Chief Risk & Accounting Officer at Reliant Energy. Matt began their career as a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers after earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University.
