Cuthbert Z has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Cuthbert started their career at Tahoe Tesla in 2005 as a System Software Engineer and worked there until 2007. Cuthbert then joined Tesla in 2010 as an Energy System Designer and later transitioned to the role of Senior Energy Data Analyst in 2013. Currently, Cuthbert works at Tesla as the Director of Energy Data. In this position, they are responsible for establishing and improving the company's energy management system, ensuring compliance with government regulations, introducing new energy-saving technologies, and participating in energy reviews and audits. Cuthbert also conducts regular audits of the company's energy performance and leads improvement initiatives.

Cuthbert Z pursued a Bachelor's degree in Technology from the University of California, Berkeley from 1996 to 2000. Subsequently, they went on to obtain a Master's degree in Energy Forging from the University of Pennsylvania between 2008 and 2010.
