Sorin Dumitrescu

Sorin Dumitrescu is the current Vice President of Engineering at Bunnyshell. Sorin was previously the Chief Technology Officer at Omniconvert from July 2016 to February 2021. During their time at Omniconvert, Sorin was responsible for the company vision and strategy, with full responsibility in both technology vision and operations, from strategic planning to delivery of projects. Sorin was also part of the management team and helped contribute to the company vision and strategic planning. Sorin has many achievents, such as designing procedures and workflows that resulted in a smooth and efficient activity, introducing Scrum and Kanban methodologies, setting and monitoring team & person KPIs for ongoing activity, and coordinating the full cloud migration from Azure to Digital Ocean.

Sorin Dumitrescu has a Master of Science in Multimedia Communications from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication Systems and Technologies from the same school, and a Bacalaureat in Mathematics and computer programming from Colegiul National Sfantul Sava Bucuresti. Sorin also has certification from the International Scrum Institute in Scrum Master Accredited Certification and from Zend Technologies in Zend Certified PHP Engineer.

They work with Grig Duta - Head of Sales, Cristian Ducu - CGO, and Adrian Androne - COO. Sorin Dumitrescu reports to Alin Dobra, Co-Founder & CEO.
