Jimena Nieto García has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.
Starting in 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Centro de Investigación Drogas y Derechos Humanos and Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas Económicas Políticas y Antropológicas CISEPA, where they managed client relationships, collected information for academic publications, and coordinated events.
In 2013, they joined Instituto Bruno as a Campaign and Social Media Coordinator, where they coordinated a funding campaign and managed social media accounts to increase engagement. Jimena also worked at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú as a Coordinator of Training Services, managing institutional client accounts, planning Facebook ads strategy, and content creation on social media channels and the website.
In 2017, Jimena became a Junior Account Manager at Tinkle International, where they managed NBA Spanish filial press account, assisted in executing international projects, and enhanced the e-reputation of various brands and individuals through SEO strategy execution.
From 2018 to 2022, they worked at TELUS International Europe as an Operations Team Manager, providing a vision for the project objectives to an 18-person team, motivating and inspiring team members, and coaching and developing them.
Currently, Jimena is working as a Brand Acquisition Manager at Buo, where they lead brand acquisition, fosters strong relationships with acquired brands, and collaborates on strategic projects and high-impact purchases with the Head of Marketplace.
Jimena Nieto García earned their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú from 2007 to 2012. Jimena then pursued a Master's degree in Political and Social Communication at Universitat Ramon Llull from 2016 to 2017. In 2019 to 2020, they attended ThePower Business School, where they obtained a degree in Digital Marketing.
