Burd Home Health is a family run company based out of Rochester, NY that believes "the best care will come from someone you know and trust."​ 

As many families are figuring out, there is a huge scarcity of home health aides available across the entire U.S.  This results in thousands in need of care being placed on a waiting list for a home health aide. To make matters worse, the Bureau for Labor Statistics estimates that 1.3 million new paid caregivers will be needed to meet the demand over the next decade! Unfortunately for many, if a caregiver cannot be assigned, the only option left is to put their loved one in a nursing home.

Instead, Burd Home Health helps families hire their own family members as paid caregivers. Today, we are working with hundreds of families that are desperately trying to keep their loved one out of a nursing home and paying them for their loving care.
