Alex Heidt

Alex Heidt has over 30 years of professional experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Alex began their career in 1988 as a Test Engineer for military/intelligence communication systems at E-SYSTEMS' Melpar Division. Alex then moved into a Manager of Program Finance role in the same division, where they were responsible for finance operations, EVM, scheduling, invoicing, collections, proposal development, and strategic planning. In 1994, Alex joined ORBITAL SCIENCES CORP as a Senior Manager with financial P&L responsibility for the satellite division. Alex then moved to LOCKHEED MARTIN in 1999, where they held the positions of Vice President, Director of Business Strategy & Contracts, and Director of Business Operations. In 2010, Alex joined Harris Corporation as Senior Vice President Business Development and Strategic Growth, and Vice President with full P&L responsibility for all Harris IT's US and International Air Force operations. In 2013, they were appointed Senior Vice President at Alion Science and Technology. In 2015, Alex founded The Heidt Law Firm, PLLC and became the CEO of Burdeshaw Associates, a premier aerospace and defense boutique consulting firm.

Alex Heidt received a JD/MA in Finance from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law between 1996 and 2000. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Strayer University between 1994 and 1996.
