Elliot Berg

Elliot Berg is an economist at the Bureau of Economic Analysis since March 2021, responsible for analyzing government goods and services inputs for US International Transaction Accounts statistics, managing correspondence with stakeholders in the Department of Defense, and authoring quarterly news releases. Previous experience includes serving as a research consultant for Rock the Vote, an Economic Opportunity Scholar at the National Governors Association, and various roles at Quest Diagnostics, where significant projects included managing biomedical waste regulation compliance and negotiating cost savings. Elliot holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Political Science from Western Michigan University.
