Joseph Mayans

Joseph Mayans is an experienced economist with a robust career in economic strategy and analysis. Currently serving as the Chief Economist for Experian North America since February 2022, Mayans leads the Economic Strategy Group and previously held the position of Director of US Economics, focusing on strategic initiatives and economic analysis. Before joining Experian, Mayans founded Advantage Economics, developing resources to address the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mayans also worked at Zions Bank as Assistant Vice President, coordinating economic and public policy research, and served in various roles in the United States Senate, where responsibilities included leading the Senate Competitiveness Caucus and managing constituent correspondence. Mayans's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Wichita State University.
