Cari Orts

Cari Orts is an experienced educator with over 15 years in the field, currently serving as a Gifted and Talented Teacher K-5 and Makerspace Instructor at Marble Falls Independent School District since January 2020. Cari also operates as an Education Consultant through Techie Cari since June 2016 and presents nationally on the book "Making Best Use of Google Classroom to Enhance Student Engagement and Learning" with the Bureau of Education & Research since April 2017. Previous roles include a Learning Guide at friEdTechnology, a middle school Digital Graphics and Tech Applications Teacher at Lake Travis ISD, and an Instructional Technologist and Elementary Teacher at Marble Falls ISD and Hays CISD, respectively. Cari holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Texas State University.
