Hemant Negi

Hemant Negi is an experienced professional currently serving as Deputy Director in the certification department of the Bureau of Indian Standards since December 2020, where responsibilities include inspection, certification, and granting licenses for Indian standards. Prior to this role, Hemant worked as Assistant Manager at Cochin Shipyard Limited from January 2019 to October 2020, overseeing the heat ventilation and air conditioning system for a technology demonstration vessel for DRDO, as well as managing outsourcing activities within the shipbuilding department. Hemant holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, obtained in 2016.
