Gerald Perrins

Gerald Perrins has over three decades of experience in economic analysis and data dissemination, currently serving as Section Chief at the Bureau of Labor Statistics since June 1991, where responsibilities include directing operations for the Consumer Price Index and leading a team of economists and statisticians. Previous roles at the Bureau encompass Assistant Regional Commissioner, Branch Chief, Regional Economist, Senior Staff Economist, and Staff Economist, all focused on managing and implementing national programs related to compensation and economic analysis. Additionally, Gerald Perrins served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania from January 2007 to January 2016, teaching graduate-level courses in statistics and quantitative methods. Gerald Perrins holds an MBA in Statistics from Temple University and a BA in Economics from Wilkes University.
