Bill Beck is an accomplished geologist and geophysicist with extensive experience in both civilian and military roles. Currently serving as the Supervising Geologist/Branch Chief of Fluid Minerals at the Bureau of Land Management, Bill manages various federal fluid minerals programs. Previous positions include Interpretation Specialist at PGS, Geophysical Advisor at Hess Corporation, and Geoscience Discipline Lead at Maersk Oil, among others, contributing to significant geological frameworks and resource evaluations in the Gulf of Mexico and beyond. Bill's military experience includes leadership roles with the Texas Air National Guard, focusing on medical planning and operational readiness during major disasters. Bill holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Houston and completed advanced military education in strategic national security and joint operations.
