Fern Braun

Fern Braun is an accomplished GIS professional with extensive experience in management and analysis. Currently serving as the Acting GIS Manager for Eastern States at the Bureau of Land Management since July 2022, Fern also holds the role of Management and Program Analyst. Prior roles include Senior GIS Business Analyst at Applied Future Technologies, where responsibilities included project management for the BLM GIS Modernization Project, and GIS Developer Consultant at RTD, focusing on designing an ArcGIS Online Hub website. Fern's previous experience also encompasses managing the GIS department at Eco-Site and conducting economic analyses at RTI International. Academic credentials include a Master's of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
