Jason Hone possesses extensive experience in law enforcement and security roles, currently serving as Division Chief in the Office of Professional Responsibility at the Bureau of Land Management since July 2015. Prior to this position, Jason held multiple acting deputy director roles within the same office. From March 2004 to July 2015, Jason was a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service, where responsibilities included serving on the George W. Bush Protective Detail and participating in the Electronic Crimes Task Force. Earlier in Jason's career, from May 1998 to March 2004, Jason worked as a Police Officer for the City of Boulder, engaging in tactical operations as a SWAT officer and serving as a field training officer. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned in 1998.
