Karl Vochatzer

Karl Vochatzer is an experienced archaeologist currently working for the Bureau of Land Management at the Prineville District Office since February 2023. Previously, Karl held roles as an Archaeologist managing cultural resources at the Cedar City Field Office and as an Archaeological Technician within the same office, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act and conducting cultural resource surveys. Karl's experience extends to leadership roles, such as the Archaeology Field Crew Lead at Zion National Park, and research and documentation positions with companies like Cardno and IBM. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Southern Utah University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University, and a Master of Science in Experimental Cognitive Psychology from Iowa State University.
