Rachel Hodara is an experienced archaeologist currently working at the National Park Service since August 2015. Previously, Rachel served as a Project Coordinator at SWCA Environmental Consultants, managing the Maui aspect of the Statewide Noxious Invasive Pest Program for the Hawai'i State Department of Transportation. Rachel also worked as an archaeologist with Scientific Consultant Services, Inc. from January 2013 to June 2015, and held the position of Associate Manager for External Affairs at Global Footprint Network. Earlier career experience includes roles as an Assistant Preparator at Cantor Arts Center, Stanford University, and as an Assistant Environmental Coordinator in the County of Maui Mayor's Office. Rachel earned a Master’s Degree with Distinction in Environmental Archaeology and Palaeoeconomy from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropological Sciences from Stanford University.
