Nicole Montoya is a Wildlife Biologist and Natural Resource Specialist with extensive experience in biological sciences and wildlife management. Currently employed at the Bureau of Land Management since December 2018, Nicole previously worked as a Scientific Aid for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and held positions as a Peer Mentor and Tutor at California State University, Stanislaus, where assistance was provided to biology and zoology students. Earlier experience includes an internship as a Biological Technician at the Bureau of Land Management, where skills in herpetological monitoring and ecological research were developed, as well as a Program Intern at the Central Coast Aquarium, focusing on marine science education for elementary students. Nicole holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from California State University, Stanislaus, and a High School Diploma from Ernest Righetti High School.
