Samantha Storms

Samantha Storms is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Division Chief for External Affairs at the Bureau of Land Management since May 2012. Previously, Samantha held several roles within the Bureau, including Deputy Chief and Public Affairs Specialist, where responsibilities included leading new media initiatives. Prior work experience includes a stint as a Communication and Program Independent Contractor at Palouse Knowledge Corridor, an internship in the Communications Department at Gritman Medical Center, and a campus campaign coordination role for Teach For America. Samantha also has a strong leadership background from the University of Idaho, where roles included Student Body Vice-President and Outreach and Recruitment Student Coordinator. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Adult, Organizational Learning, and Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Business, both from the University of Idaho, complemented by a high school diploma from Idaho Falls High School.
