Tom Wilkinson

Tom Wilkinson is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Manager of Management Accounting at the Bureau of Meteorology since March 2023, where also holds the position of Acting Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Tom was the Chief Financial Officer at the National Blood Authority, Australia, from April 2021 to March 2023. Additional experience includes roles at the Commonwealth Treasury as Director of the Financial Management and Budgeting Unit and Team Leader, and as Assistant Finance Business Partner at the Australian Department of Health. Tom’s early career featured positions as Regional Finance Manager at KONE, Management Accountant and Finance Officer at the Australian Department of Home Affairs, and Accountant at Beames and Associates Accounting & Financial Services Pty Ltd. Tom is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Canberra.
