Abel Ibarra

Abel Ibarra is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in staffing and recruitment. Currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Specialist at the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement since May 2023, Abel has previously held roles as a Human Resources Specialist at the Bureau of Reclamation from October 2017 to October 2023 and at the Bureau of Land Management from June 2012 to October 2017. Abel began a career in human resources as a Human Resources Assistant, performing tasks such as activating HSPD-12 cards and enrolling new employees for ID processes. Earlier experience includes an internship focused on training and development at the Idaho Department of Correction. Abel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Human Resources Management and General Business from Boise State University between 2007 and 2013.
