Jeff Stewart

Jeff Stewart is a Renewable Energy Specialist (Safety) at the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement since May 2021, focusing on the safe development of offshore clean energy. Previously, Jeff held several positions at Helmerich & Payne, including Operations Research Analyst and HSE Specialist - Investigations, where responsibilities included leading HSE investigations and performing root cause analyses. As GOM Compliance Manager, Jeff analyzed regulations and collaborated with operators to align safety systems. Jeff also managed multi-million-dollar rig upgrade projects as a Project Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Operations Officer in the US Navy, overseeing operational planning and budget management. Jeff holds a Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.
