Martijn Stiemsma

Martijn Stiemsma is an experienced civil engineer with a strong background in project management and design. Currently serving as Project Leader at Bureau Schmidt since May 2018, Martijn previously held the roles of Designer and Specification Writer at Adonin from March 2013 to May 2018, as well as Project Employee at Brunel from October 2009 to May 2018. Martijn's tenure at Brunel included a secondment at Provincie Groningen, where responsibilities encompassed creating AutoCAD drawings, digitizing utility data, writing specifications for various civil works, and supporting project leaders. Earlier experiences include internships and a thesis project with Oosterhof-Holman Beton en Waterbouw, as well as a position at Gemeente Dongeradeel focused on civil engineering drawings and specifications. Martijn holds a Civil Engineering degree from NHL Hogeschool, obtained in 2009.
