Paulo Balagueiras

Paulo Balagueiras currently serves as the Group HSE & CSR Vice President and Group QHSE Vice President at Bureau Veritas Group, a position held since April 2020. Prior to this role, Paulo was the EMEA EHS Senior Director and Senior Director Field Safety at Otis Elevator Co. from January 2017 to April 2020. Previous experience includes roles as Safety Director for the US & Canada and Senior Safety Manager - Americas at Schindler Elevator Corporation from April 2014 to January 2017, and various safety management positions at Otis Elevator from January 2000 to April 2014, including Safety Director for the Latin America Region and Operations in France. Paulo holds a Post Graduation degree in Safety Management from TUV Akademie and a degree from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa.
