Aykut Gürses

Aykut Gürses is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in incident response, threat hunting, and digital forensics. Currently serving as the Senior Cyber Security Incident Responder and Team Lead at Burgan Bank Türkiye since October 2022, Aykut previously held pivotal roles at Türk Telekom, where responsibilities included cyber defense, incident management, and compromise assessments. Aykut has developed strong expertise in utilizing SIEM, SOC, and MDR solutions, alongside proficiency in tools like MITRE ATT&CK and OSINT. Aykut's foundation in system and network practices was established through training at BilgeAdam, and early roles involved digital forensic engineering and cybersecurity engineering at Fordefence and Exclusive Networks Turkey. Aykut holds a degree in Forensic Engineering from Firat University.
