Nelson Choi is a seasoned professional in data analytics and insights, currently serving as a Senior Insights Analyst at Burger King New Zealand since February 2022, following a role as Marketing Insights Analyst. Prior experience includes positions at The Warehouse Group as a Data Analytics and Data Governance Chapter Member, and at IRI as a Client Analyst. Nelson also served as the Executive Director for the Hong Kong New Zealand Business Association from April 2018 to April 2019, and worked as a Sales and Customer Service Analyst at PROTEX WORKWEAR LIMITED. We served our first flame grilled Whopper™ in our first New Zealand restaurant in 1994. Back then, grunge was big, phones had cords, the internet had just been invented, and we were on a mission to make better burgers for burger lovers throughout the country! Since then, many things have changed in New Zealand, but not our burgers. They contain only the best ingredients, and we make every meal to order so our food is fresh, hot, and tasty! We've grown to 75 restaurants all around the country and we employ more than 1,500 awesome people! Because we're really into training and career development, we've become an employer of choice for people at all levels - Team Member roles in restaurants through to our Distribution Centre and our Restaurant Support Centre.
