Wolfgang Bommes

Wolfgang Bommes acquired the entire shares of Burgmann Packings in 2004, when the packing production activities were separated from the Freudenberg and Burgmann Sealing business. As the Chairman of the Burgmann Packings Group he has developed the company from a subcontractor to EagleBurgmann and Freudenberg Sealing Technology to an independent market player in the sealing industry. Before starting his own business Wolfgang had worked as a Managing Director/CEO in international trading companies with responsibility for operations, IT and sourcing. After finalizing his studies in economics at the University of Cologne and a PHD he started his career in an international consulting company. After that he joined a global sports company to take over responsibility for controlling and later on for the entire footwear division.
