Phil Cassella is the current Head of Marketing at Burial Beer Co. Prior to their current position, they were the Marketing and Content Manager at Trillium Brewing Company from July 2019 to December 2021. Before that, they were the Marketing Manager at Craft Beer Cellar from January 2018 to July 2019, where they were responsible for capture, curation, and scheduling of social media content for 6 social media accounts, providing graphic assets for digital and print usage, executing graphic design requests, identifying influential media and industry contacts, building relationships through conversations and story pitches, developing email marketing campaigns, editing and approving email newsletters, capturing images and writing pieces for the Craft Beer Cellar Wordpress blog, and conducting a complete redesign of the blog in February 2019. Phil Cassella began their career in marketing as an intern at ITALY AND WINE from August 2014 to December 2014 before becoming the Marketing Director at Adirondack Pub & Brewery from May 2015 to January 2018.
Phil Cassella completed their undergraduate degree in marketing/marketing management general at Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Phil also studied at Syracuse University Florence. Phil Cassella's high school education was completed at Hartford Central School. In addition, they hold a certification from the Cicerone Certification Program as a Cicerone Certified Beer Server.
